What is the Golf 4 Youth?

Vancouver Golf 4 Youth Society, a registered non-profit, is inviting golfers from all over Vancouver to participate in a collaborative effort to grow junior golf, foster community engagement, and support charitable initiatives through competitive tournaments in partnership with the American Junior Golf Association (AJGA). We will be hosting a series of golf tournaments on our beloved local courses, McCleery, Langara or Fraserview. 

What is our goal?

As a team, we aim to raise $5000 for the Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) organization https://www.ajga.org/liberty-national-ace-grant, which is affiliated with the AJGA. For every birdie made during the tournament, $15 will be donated, and the AJGA will provide tax assistance for the fundraising process by directing emailing the designated email after one donates.What is our Goal?

Why should you join the team?

  • AJGA Tournament Advantage: Active participants in Leadership Links will be given priority in tie-breaking situations when applying for AJGA tournament fields. This means you will have a better chance of getting in the most prestigious tournament in North America.

  • Leadership & Volunteer Hours: Students will gain leadership experience and earn volunteer hours, both of which strengthen college applications.

Getting the opportunity to meet and play against other local youth golfers in a fun, social yet competitive environment.

  • In order to confirm your spot on the tournament, please register on https://www.leadershiplinks.org and join Golf 4 Youth Society. After, pay by donating the designated amount to Golf 4 Youth.

  • In order to receive volunteer hours, please refer to Volunteer Hours at the top of the website. After, download and follow the instructions in the document.

  • Tournaments will be hosted at different local golf courses around Vancouver. In order to receive more information about the exact location, please register and further information will be then emailed to you.

  • Yes! Prizes will be awarded for first, second, and third place in the overall low gross category. Additionally, Golf Town gift cards will be given to the winners of each KP (Closest to the Pin) and Long Drive competition
